Hi I’m Jess!

It’s great to meet you.

I’m an executive coach who can help you defeat overwhelm, rediscover your professional focus and start to thrive with supportive, solution-focused coaching.

Coaching? It’s what I was born to do

I just love people. I also love seeing talented individuals, like you, make the most of themselves. My career has spanned consultancy, senior management, teaching, recruitment and sales. I also work in my family business, helping run a 15-strong team. In all those roles, communication, mentoring and coaching have been a constant feature. Whether it’s been helping someone find a job they love, supporting young adults plan their professional goals or working with teams to create quality improvement plans; I’m all about trying to find a positive end result.

Because we’re all different, I’m flexible in the way I work. However, I stick firm to giving each and every client the same positive results. How do I do that? By helping you create professional objectives you’re excited about and going on to set clear, achievable targets you can’t wait to achieve.

The long and winding road…

It’s fair to say that I wouldn’t be the coach I am today without the roles I’ve done in the past. These include being the Director of Student services at an FE college, working as interim Vice Principal at another and being an independent Business Consultant. I’m an ILM qualified Executive Coach and have a post graduate qualification in teaching adults. Want to know more?

A bit more about me

  • I have a passion for drama and have been known to tread the boards… acting, singing, even tap dancing (ta-dah!).
  • I LOVE life sculpture. I used to sculpt when I was in my teens and have recently rediscovered it. It’s my way of unwinding and switching off.
  • I have MS and was diagnosed relatively late in life. This diagnosis, although a shock, has taught me many lessons about overcoming adversity and adapting my goals to compensate for physical challenges.
  • I have two fur-babies; Nora Bubble and Nellie Rose (they’re dogs) and two human children. I’m not always sure who causes the most trouble.
  • I love jelly babies, coffee and gin. I’m also very partial to brie. In fact, I love it so much that I don’t keep it in the house.

Jess is calm, friendly and open. She is a bottomless mine of easily applied, creative solutions to a wide variety of challenges, all eased along with plenty of humour.
